Frequently Asked Questions
We respect all building quiet hours, typically before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. on weekdays, and midday on weekends. When you book, just let us know your building’s specific rules, since quiet hours and concierge sign-in windows vary from one condo corporation to the next. We’ll schedule your appointment to fall within whatever window your building allows. Our equipment is low-noise, and we never use loud vacuums or run appliances in your unit during restricted times, which matters more in a condo than in a detached house since sound carries through shared walls and ceilings to neighbouring suites. If your building has a resident notification policy for service visits, let us know and we’ll make sure our arrival fits it.
We bring our own compact caddies and don’t need access to your under-sink storage or closets. Everything we use fits in a small rolling kit that’s sized for condo hallways and in-suite storage, not a full-size cleaning cart. You don’t need to clear space or provide supplies before we arrive. This matters in a smaller condo unit where every closet is already doing double duty, and it means our visit doesn’t require you to rearrange furniture or move anything out of the way first. If your unit has a shared storage locker on another floor, we won’t need access to it, everything we bring stays with us for the full appointment.
We never leave carts, vacuums, or supplies in shared hallways, all of our equipment stays inside your unit for the full appointment. This keeps common areas clear for your neighbours and avoids any conflict with your building’s rules about items left in corridors. If you’re on a high floor and the elevator is out of service, we’ll reschedule rather than carry equipment up the stairwell, since that risks scuffing walls, floors, and stairwell railings on the way up. We also avoid propping open fire doors or stairwell access points to move gear through the building, since that can trip building security systems. Let us know if your building has a service elevator we should use instead of the main one.
We wipe down balcony doors, tracks, and interior sills when weather permits, both inside and out. We don’t sweep, wash, or pressure-wash the outdoor balcony surface itself as part of standard cleaning, that’s typically the responsibility of the condo corporation or building maintenance, not an individual unit’s cleaning service. The same applies to shared amenity spaces like rooftop terraces or common balconies, those fall outside our scope. If you have a small indoor patio, sunroom, or enclosed balcony that’s part of your unit’s finished square footage, we’ll clean the floors and surfaces there as part of your regular visit. Let us know what your balcony setup looks like when you book so we can plan accordingly.
We don’t offer à la carte price reductions on our Basic Clean, it’s already streamlined for the square footage of a typical condo unit and priced accordingly. If there’s an area you’d like us to skip, like a guest bathroom you rarely use or a home office you’d rather we didn’t touch, we can note it in your file to speed up the visit. That request won’t change the price, since the clean is priced by unit size and service level rather than by individual task, but it helps our cleaners focus their time on what matters most to you. This is different from a deep clean, where every listed task on the checklist is included as part of the service.
A quick tidy between full cleanings is something most condo residents handle themselves, since a smaller footprint makes spot-cleaning fast: wipe the counters, run a vacuum over the main traffic areas, and clear the sink. That keeps a unit presentable for a day or two without booking a full visit. Our regular and deep cleaning services are built for the thorough work a quick tidy doesn’t cover, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning floors edge to edge, and detailing the kitchen and bathroom. Most condo clients book us for that deeper clean on a recurring schedule and manage the small touch-ups themselves in between. If you’re not sure which service fits your unit, tell us your square footage and how often you’d like us to come, and we’ll recommend a schedule.
Condo cleaning starts from $150 for our Basic Clean, with the final price depending on your unit’s size, condition, and how often you book. Smaller condo footprints typically cost less to clean than a full house, since there’s less square footage and fewer rooms to cover. Recurring weekly or bi-weekly service usually costs less per visit than a one-time deep clean, because the unit stays maintained between appointments. Request a free estimate and we’ll walk through your unit’s layout, any building access requirements, and your preferred schedule before confirming a price. Booking online also comes with a $25 discount off your first cleaning.
A regular clean covers the surfaces you touch every day: counters, sinks, appliance exteriors, bathrooms, floors, and dusting throughout your unit. A deep clean goes further into the details a regular visit doesn’t reach:
- Inside the fridge, stove, and cabinets in the kitchen
- Grout and shower doors in the bathroom, not just the surfaces
- Baseboards, trim, and window sills throughout the suite
- Under rugs and along furniture edges when vacuuming
Most condo owners book a deep clean for move-in, move-out, or seasonal resets, then switch to regular cleaning to maintain the results. If you’re not sure which one your unit needs, tell us the last time it was professionally cleaned and we’ll recommend a starting point rather than defaulting you to the more expensive option.
No. Our service covers the inside of your condo unit only, common areas like hallways, elevators, lobbies, gyms, and party rooms are maintained by the building’s condo corporation or property management company, not by us. We also don’t leave carts, vacuums, or supplies in shared hallways while we work, all of our equipment stays inside your suite for the full appointment. If your building has specific rules about moving equipment through common areas, let us know when you book and we’ll follow them. This keeps our cleaners in good standing with building management and avoids any disruption to your neighbours.
Move-in and move-out cleaning is booked around your closing or possession date so the unit is ready exactly when you need it: cleaned before you move belongings in, or cleaned after you’ve moved out and before keys change hands. Because timing is tight around a real estate closing, we recommend booking as soon as your date is confirmed rather than waiting until the week of. This service includes inside cabinets and closets, appliance interiors, and baseboards, the details that matter most for a move but that don’t get covered by everyday cleaning. Landlords, sellers, and buyers all use this service, and we can coordinate directly with your realtor or property manager on access.
You tell us your building’s access procedure when you book, and we follow it exactly. Some buildings require cleaners to sign in with concierge and show ID, others need a fob or key left with the front desk, and some allow direct entry once you’ve buzzed us in. If your building requires advance notice to concierge or property management, let us know a few days ahead so you can arrange it. Our cleaners always check in through the building’s official process rather than using side entrances or asking residents to prop doors open, since that’s what keeps buildings comfortable working with outside cleaning companies.
Every cleaner on our team is fully bonded and insured before they’re sent to your condo. If an item is ever damaged during a cleaning, tell us as soon as you notice it so we can look into what happened and make it right. We also background-check and train every cleaner before they work independently in a client’s unit, which is part of why building management and concierge teams are comfortable granting our staff access. Delicate finishes, tight galley kitchens, and shared ventilation systems all mean less margin for error than in a detached house, so we hold our cleaners to the same standard whether the unit is a studio or a three-bedroom suite. You’re welcome to ask about our insurance coverage directly when you request your free estimate.
Requesting a free estimate takes a few minutes and starts the process toward your first cleaning:
- Tell us your unit size, layout, and which service you’re interested in, regular, deep, or move-in/move-out
- We confirm a price based on your condo’s square footage and condition
- You choose a date and time, including any building access requirements or quiet hours we need to work around
- Our cleaners arrive, check in with concierge or building management if required, and complete the service
There’s no obligation to book after requesting an estimate, and no long-term contract once you do. You can request an estimate, compare the price against your budget, and decide whether to book at all, there’s no pressure to commit on the spot, and no fee for asking.
No. Every cleaning, whether it’s a one-time deep clean or a recurring weekly visit, can be rescheduled or cancelled without a long-term contract locking you in. If your schedule changes, your building’s rules change, or you simply want to pause service for a while, you can adjust your booking without penalty. This flexibility matters most for condo living, where travel, guests, elevator bookings, and building maintenance schedules can shift plans on short notice in a way a detached house rarely runs into. Recurring clients keep their spot on our schedule, but nothing obligates you to continue beyond your next booked visit, and switching between weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service is a simple request rather than a renegotiation.
Booking your cleaning online comes with $25 off. Select your service and preferred schedule through our online booking form, and the discount applies automatically before you confirm. This applies to both one-time condo cleanings and recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly bookings, so it’s worth using even if you’re only trying us out for a single visit before deciding whether to switch to a recurring schedule. If you’d rather speak with someone before booking, request a free estimate instead and we can apply the same discount when you’re ready to confirm your appointment, so choosing to talk it through first doesn’t cost you the savings.
